The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Co-organised by the Department of Justice of Hong Kong, the China Law Society, and the Legal Affairs Bureau of Macau, 13th Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao Legal Seminar unfolded under the theme “Anchoring the New Strategic Positioning and Facilitating the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) with High-quality Rule of Law” on 21 July 2025.
President Mr Roden Tong joined the Seminar with more than fifteen Law Society representatives. This theme resonates with the Law Society’s dedication to advancing the development of legal profession and creating new business opportunities for our members within the GBA.
