The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Jointly organised by The Law Society of Hong Kong and the Department of Justice (“DoJ”), the GBA Young Lawyers Forum (“the Forum”) will be held under the theme “Building a Future Together under GBA Opportunities” on 9 November 2023 from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm as part of the Hong Kong Legal Week 2023.
The Forum comprises a main forum where prominent speakers are invited to discuss the roles of legal professionals in building a law-based business environment, and how to work with enterprises in the GBA with a view to managing risks and seizing business opportunities. Meanwhile, young lawyers will share their experiences and expectations in relation to practising in the GBA at an interactive session.

Interactive session: Understanding the three jurisdictions – Embracing opportunities and realising dreams in the GBAYoung people are our future. Rapid development of the GBA provides unprecedented opportunities for young lawyers in Hong Kong and Macao to pursue legal practices unique to the GBA and gain valuable legal experience.
