The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

President of The Law Society of Hong Kong Mr Roden Tong is invited to give an opening speech at the event. With reference to his participation in the Kuwait business visit last week, He took the opportunity to reaffirm the audience the competitive advantages of Hong Kong and its legal professionals on the global stage. He also encouraged the legal professions to work closely with the Law Society to fully embrace and excel in their roles as “super connector” and “super value-adder”.
