The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Vice-President and Chairlady of GBA Lawyers Sub-Committee and GBA Lawyers Interest Group Ms Careen Wong chaired a lunch gathering for GBA Lawyers Sub-Committee and GBA Lawyers Interest Group to gather views and strengthen connections among members. Members of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee were also invited to join the meeting.
Topics discussed included practical challenges for GBA lawyers and legal collaboration opportunities within the GBA, as well as Hong Kong lawyers’ roles under GBA’s development.
