The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The Law Society of Hong Kong received a delegation from the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government. During the meeting, we discussed a wide range of issues, including the differences between the judicial and legislative frameworks in Hong Kong and Mainland China, Hong Kong lawyers’ management system as well as exploring the possibility of linkage between Hong Kong and Shandong province for cultivation of foreign-related rule of law talents.
