The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The Sharing Session was organised by the members of the Election Committee Legal Subsector and hosted by the International Legal Commercial Elites Associations.
President Mr Roden Tong was invited to speak at the event on the role of Hong Kong and the contributions that Hong Kong lawyers can make. He encouraged the Hong Kong legal community to seize the opportunities presented under the “One Country, Two Systems,” and leverage Hong Kong’s unique positioning and the legal community’s strengths in common law and internationalisation to contribute meaningfully to national development.
