The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Organised by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Hainan Arbitration Center, the Second Hainan-Hong Kong Dispute Resolution Dialogue Meeting was held on 20 December 2024, attracting nearly 200 participants.
Council Member and Vice-Chairlady of Greater China Legal Affairs Committee Heidi Chui was invited to speak as a panellist of a session under the theme “Enhancing the Rule of Law through Exchanges and Mutual Learning: Empowering Regional Development through Dispute Resolution”.
The speakers discussed on leveraging Hong Kong’s experience in developing a world-class dispute resolution centre to establish Hainan as an international commercial arbitration centre for the Indo-Pacific region.
