The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 16 November, Vice-President Christopher Yu received a delegation led by the Director of Hainan Provincial Department of Justice Wang Lei and gave an overview of Hong Kong’s legal profession.
Meanwhile, Mr Wang Lei shared the latest updates in relation to the preferential measures for Hong Kong lawyers to practise in Hainan.
