The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

President C. M. Chan, Vice President cum Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC”) Roden Tong and Council Member cum GCLAC Member Careen Wong attended the 50th Anniversary of Taoyuan Bar Association and 2023 Lawyers Day Celebration in Taoyuan, Taiwan on 19 August. President C. M. Chan gave a congratulatory speech at the Celebration Dinner.
On 20 August, President C. M. Chan visited Taoyuan Bar Association and had a discussion on exploring future collaboration with Mr. Kassy Chang, President of the Taoyuan Bar Association. GCLAC Member Ronald Kan also joined the courtesy meeting.
