The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Jointly organised by The Law Society of Hong Kong and a number of academic and professional bodies in the Greater China region, the Straits Law Forum was successfully held in Quanzhou on 18 August under the theme “Research on Legal Protection of Natural Conservation Landscape".
