The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 14 July, Vice-President and GCLAC Chairman Roden Tong, as well as Council Member and Chairman of the Young Solicitors’ Group Calvin Cheng received a group of students from Peking University Law School (“Law School”) who attended the law course co-organised by the Law Society and the Law School this year under the title “An Introduction to Legal Services and Risk Management for Cross-border Transactions”.
