The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Organised by the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen Municipality, the “Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone – Legal Services Promotion Conference (Hong Kong)” was successfully held on 14 July 2023. The event attracted around 100 lawyers and guests. During the conference, Vice-President and Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC”) Roden Tong delivered a speech on the prospects available to Hong Kong legal professionals in Qianhai.
