The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 11 July, Vice-President and Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC”) Chairman Roden Tong and Council Member and GCLAC Vice-Chairman Neville Cheng met with representatives from Dalian Lawyers Association, Dongguan Lawyers Association and Huizhou Lawyers. During the meetings, ways to foster closer ties between lawyers in Hong Kong and those in the Greater Bay Area had been discussed.
