The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The 2023 law course co-organized by the Peking University Law School and the Law Society under the title "An Introduction to Legal Services and Risk Management for Cross-border Transactions" was completed successfully. Lectures on case studies and mock arbitration held on 20 May 2023 and 3 June 2023 respectively marked a successful conclusion to this series of fourteen lectures.
Lecture 11 to 14 were taught by Belt and Road Committee Vice Chairman Nicholas Chan, Pro Bono Committee member Arthur Chan, Council member and Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC”) member Heidi Chui, GCLAC Vice Chairman Henry Wai, and Greater China Interest Group member Eviana Leung.
After the lectures on June 3, President C. M. Chan, Vice-President cum GCLAC Chairman Roden Tong and the three lecturers attended the Peking University Law School’s Hong Kong Common Law Scholarship Award Presentation Ceremony 2023 in Beijing and awarded scholarships to ten outstanding students.
