The Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Exam is a 3-year pilot scheme for Hong Kong lawyers to obtain practicing qualifications in the nine mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area, and the third examination will be held on 27 May 2023. To meet the needs of members who are preparing for the examination, the Law Society organised an online sharing session on the examination on 10 May 2023.

Vice-President cum Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC”) Chairperson Mr Roden Tong delivered a welcome speech, which was followed by a pre-recorded sharing made by the Secretary for Justice Mr Paul Lam. GCLAC Vice-Chairman Mr James Wong, GCLAC members Mr William Ling and Ms Natalia Cheung shared their experience and offered tips to members for preparing for the examination. Council member, GCLAC member and Chairlady of Greater Bay Area Lawyers Sub-Committee Ms Careen Wong served as the moderator of the event. The sharing session attracted over 50 members to join via Zoom. 

The Law Society organised a sharing session on the Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination to assist members in preparing for the examination.
