The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Under the theme “Building a Legalized Business Environment in the Greater Bay Area”, the Shenzhen University held the “Inaugural Shenzhen University GBA Forum” on 19 November 2022 in hybrid format. Mr. Roden Tong, Vice-President and Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee, delivered a speech in one of the breakout sessions, explaining the significance of the rule of law for Hong Kong's business environment.
