The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 23 September 2022, Guangdong Lawyers Association, the Law Society of Hong Kong and Macau Lawyers Association jointly organised the fourth seminar under the “Laws in the Greater Bay Area” Seminar Series, focusing on trust and wealth inheritance. President C. M. Chan delivered an opening speech for the event, while Vice-Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee Mr. Henry Wai shared his insights as one of the guest speakers on family offices, limited partnership funds and wealth inheritance in Hong Kong.
Hosted by Shenzhen Lawyers Association, the hybrid event attracted close to 1,000 participants.
