The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The Greater China Legal Affairs Committee aims to facilitate the exchange and co-operation among members of the industry, promotes Hong Kong legal services and explores business opportunities for its members through different events. The committee held a brainstorming session on 14 August 2022 to review activities held and gather ideas on formulating a plan for the coming year. Among many other important topics, the committee discussed opportunities and challenges arising from the Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination, as well as ways to assist members to capitalise on opportunities within the region.
