The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Mr. Roden Tong, Vice-President and Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC”); Mr. Stephen Hung, Past President and Chairman of the Working Party on the Promotion of Law Society Courses and Initiatives in Greater China Region; as well as Mr. Neville Cheng and Mr. James Wong, Vice-Chairmen of the GCLAC, had a courtesy meeting with representatives from the Exchange and Cooperation Division of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province and the Center for Basic Laws of Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions of Shenzhen University on 11 August 2022 to discuss future collaboration opportunities.
The courtesy meeting was held virtually.
