The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Nine Mainland officials under the Department of Justice’s Common Law Training Scheme visited the Law Society on 23 May 2022 and were received by President C. M. Chan, as well as Vice-Presidents Roden Tong and Christopher Yu. At the meeting, representatives of the Law Society introduced the role and functions of the Law Society, in particular its efforts in exploring opportunities arising from various national policies and development plans.
