The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Hosted by the Macau Lawyers Association, the 2022 Macau Lawyers’ Day was held successfully from 21 to 22 May 2022 in hybrid format under the theme “Development and Diversification of Macao's Economy - Challenges and Opportunities for Lawyers”. Mr. Fred Kan, Immediate Past Chairman of the Law Society’s Belt and Road Committee and Chairman of the Committee on Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, spoke on opportunities brought about by the Belt and Road Initiative.
