The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The Law Society has maintained a close working relationship with our counterparts around the world. The pandemic has brought the legal community even closer as common experiences, problems and solutions were shared. Having learnt about the challenges brought by the 5th wave, Shenzhen Lawyers Association and Dongguan Lawyers Association have donated 1,000 and 8,000 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) kits to the Law Society and the Secretariat respectively. The Law Society is grateful for the generosity and support from counterparts in the Mainland.
