The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Chan and Vice-President and Chairman of Greater China Legal Affairs Committee Roden Tong had an online courtesy meeting with representatives of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association on 4 March 2022 online to discuss how lawyers in Shenzhen and Hong Kong can leverage cross-border advantages and strengthen collaboration.
