The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The Legal and Compliance Department of China Resources Group visited the Law Society of Hong Kong on 23 December 2021, and was received by Vice-President of the Law Society and Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee Roden Tong, as well as Council Member Careen Wong. The meeting attendees exchanged views on the development of Hong Kong’s legal profession, the 14th Five-Year Plan and opportunities for the legal profession under the development of the GBA.
