The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The Greater Bay Area Young Talents Association (“GBAYTA”) held the “Youth Dream Seminar Series” on 16 December 2021 and Mr. C. M. Chan, President of the Law Society, was invited to give a talk. The hybrid seminar attracted over 80 professionals joining physically and virtually.
President talked about Hong Kong’s rule of law, opportunities under the 14th Five-Year Plan and GBA development, as well as a brief introduction on LawTech’s development in recent years.
