The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 9 July, the University of Hong Kong held a webinar under the title “In Search of New Economic Cooperation Models between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area”. At the panel discussion themed “Policies Needed for New Economic Cooperation Models Between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area”, Vice-President C.M. Chan talked about the latest liberalisation policies and his insights on strengthening legal sector collaboration in the Greater Bay Area.
