The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The Law Society participated in the "Hong Kong – Unparalleled Opportunities to Expand Your Global Business" webinar jointly hosted by InvestHK and Chongqing Lawyers Association on 12 January to strengthen the cooperation between the legal services industry in Chongqing and Hong Kong. Mr. C.M. Chan, Vice-President and Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee shared his views on how Mainland lawyers and law firms can practise and set up offices in Hong Kong, while Mr. Brian Ho, member of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee, spoke on how mainland law firms and their corporate clients can seize the development opportunities in Hong Kong.
