Hosted by Mr. Henry Wai, Vice-Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee, the second Online Seminar for Lawyers in the Greater Bay Area was held on 9 January. After a speech delivered by Mr. C.M. Chan, Vice-President and Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee, Mr. Lawrence Yeung, member of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee, explained the latest developments of Hong Kong’s intellectual property rights regarding patents and trademarks, as well as points to note in relation to intellectual property rights in the Greater Bay Area. Representatives of the Guangdong Lawyers Association and the Macau Lawyers Association also shared the development of relevant regulations and legal procedures in their respective jurisdictions. The seminar attracted the attendance of more than 70 lawyers.
