- The In-House Lawyers Committee (“IHLC”) is pleased to invite members of the Law Society to join the second panel discussion of the “Sweat & Glory Series 2021”, in the form of a webinar, where speakers will discuss and share on the topic of e-contract and e-signing.
- Work from home and team roster have become the new normal under the pandemic where in-house legal teams have been asked about legal feasibility of e-approval, e-contracting, e-signing and other forms of electronic or remote authorisation and contracting.
- This webinar will cover the Electronic Transactions Ordinance Cap.553 which governs e-contract and e-signing in Hong Kong, its legal impacts and constraints, and current industrial practices and trends. Speakers will also introduce the positions of e-contracting and e-signing in some other jurisdictions including mainland China, the UK and the US.
