The latest requirements of financial sanctions imposed by the Security Council of the United Nations (UNSC) against Libyan Investment Authority and Libyan Africa Investment Portfolio have been duly reflected in Section 9(3) of the United Nations Sanctions (Libya) Regulation 2019 (Cap.537CF) (the Regulation).
The two entities will not be defined separately as relevant entities related to Section 9(2) of the Regulation, so their names (i.e. LYe.001 and LYe.002 on the UNSC’s sanctions list concerning Libya) have been removed from the list of individuals and entities published on CEDB’s website.
