Establishment of Representative Office in the Mainland
(a)
To apply for a Certificate of Standing from the Law Society addressed to the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China for the purpose of establishing a representative office in the Mainland, please refer to the ‘Certificate of Standing’ section
(b)
Confirmation Notice to the Law Society that the representative office in the Mainland by a Hong Kong law firm has been established.
To apply for a Certificate of Standing from the Law Society for the purpose of establishing an association between a Hong Kong firm and a Mainland firm under CEPA, please refer to the ‘Certificate of Standing’ section.
(b)
Confirmation Notice to the Law Society that the association with a Mainland firm has commenced.
To apply for a Certificate of Standing from the Law Society addressed to the appropriate authority overseas for the purpose of establishing an overseas branch by a Hong Kong law firm, please refer to the ‘Certificate of Standing’ section.
(b)
Confirmation Notice to the Law Society that the overseas branch office has been established.
