Law Society’s Online Payment System- Terms of Use
This section contains the terms of use of this Payment service (“Service”). By accessing this section, you agree to be bound by the terms contained herein.
General
The Law Society of Hong Kong (“Law Society”) has made reasonable efforts to secure accuracy of the information provided at this section and accepts no responsibility/liability for any inadvertent inaccuracies or omissions at this section. The Law Society does not warrant or represent that the information or materials (including but not limited to the documents and related graphics) available at or from this section are accurate or suitable or reliable or that the section will be free of errors, viruses, bugs, problems or other limitations.
Transactions over the Internet
Transactions conducted through the internet may be subject to interruption, blackout, delay or error. The Law Society shall not be responsible for any loss of accuracy or delay of any messages sent or transactions conducted through this section arising from or in relation to any malfunction in communication facilities that are beyond the control of The Law Society.

To make online payments, you will have to access a third party site. By providing hyperlinks to such third party site, the Law Society shall not be deemed (i) to endorse, recommend, approve, guarantee or introduce any third party or the services or products it provides on the third party site, or (ii) to be an agent or partner of such third party and the site.
The Law Society does not in any way warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information, materials, services or the reliability of any service, advice, opinion, statement or other information displayed or distributed through such third party site. You understand and acknowledge that availing of any services offered on the site or your reliance on any opinion, advice, statement, memorandum, or information available on the site shall be at your sole risk and discretion and subject to any terms and conditions applicable to such access and use.
The Law Society and its employees, officers, directors and agents, expressly disclaim any liability for any deficiency in the services of any third party. Neither the Law Society nor their directors, officers and employees will be liable to/responsible for any kind of any loss that you incur arising out of any deficiency in the services of any third party to whom the site belongs or controlled, failure or disruption of the site of such third party, or resulting from the act or omission of any other party involved in making or maintaining this site or the data contained therein available to you, or from any other cause relating to your access to, inability to access, or use of the site or these materials.
No person other than you will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these terms.
These terms will be governed in all aspects in accordance with the Laws of the Hong Kong SAR and be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Hong Kong SAR.
The Law Society may change the Terms of Use, at any time and without notice. It is recommended that you review the terms periodically for changes. The Law Society shall not be held responsible for all or any actions that may subsequently result in any loss, damage and or liability on account of such change in the information in this section.
