The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

At the invitation of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association (“DTBA”), Vice-President Amirali Nasir attended its 100th Anniversary Ceremony and Celebration on 30 March in Tokyo, Japan.
The Law Society co-organised a webinar with DTBA in 2021, during which a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organisations was signed. Over the years, the partnership has continued to deepen through regular engagement. As the Law Society celebrates our 119th Anniversary, we look forward to further strengthening our ties with counterparts around the world and fostering lasting and meaningful collaborations.
