The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 21 July, ahead of the orientation activities of the Korean Internship Programme 2025, Council Members Mr Simon McConnell and Ms Heidi Chui, also Chair and Member respectively of International Legal Affairs Committee, hosted a meeting with representatives from the International Legal Advisory Division of the Korean Ministry of Justice to develop and enhance our collaboration in nurturing young legal talents.
Both sides exchanged views on enhancing cross-border training and professional development opportunities for young lawyers. The discussion reaffirmed their shared commitment to fostering meaningful legal exchanges between Hong Kong and Korea.
