From 21 July to 1 August, the Law Society co-hosted the Korean Internship Programme 2025 with the Ministry of Justice of Korea and the Korean Bar Association. Welcoming 18 young Korean lawyers and law students, the two-week programme offered hands-on experience at leading law firms and corporations in Hong Kong.
The programme began with an orientation lunch featuring detailed presentations by the Law Society representatives on Hong Kong’s legal and judicial systems, the role and functions of the Law Society, and shared insights into their legal practice in the region. The interns also visited key legal institutions including the Basic Law Library, eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre Limited, and the AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre.
To conclude the programme, a Farewell Dinner brought together Korean interns, Hong Kong’s young legal professionals, and Korean business leaders based in Hong Kong, fostering international connections and future collaboration.

Since 2014, the Law Society has partnered with the Ministry of Justice of Korea and the Korean Bar Association to successfully run this long-standing internship programme.
