At the invitation of the Belt and Road Office, Vice-President Amirali Nasir participated in the Hong Kong Infrastructure and Construction Mission to Jakarta, Indonesia, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 22 to 26 June. Led by Mr Nicholas Ho, Commissioner for Belt and Road the delegation included professionals from the legal, building, and construction sectors, and engaged in meetings with government officials, agencies, and industry representatives.
A key highlight of the mission was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Law Society and the Advocates Association of Sarawak during a networking lunch in Kuala Lumpur on 26 June, with the Commissioner as witness. This agreement signifies a significant step forward in solidifying the collaborative relationship and shared commitment to safeguarding the rule of law and providing world-class legal services.
