The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 20 May, President Roden Tong, along with Vice-Presidents Amirali Nasir, Christopher Yu and Careen Wong, received a 43-person delegation from the CTAB Attorneys Association (“CTAB”) from Thailand.
The discussions enhanced our understanding in this potential ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) legal market. Our mutual exchange of respective legal perspectives served as a catalyst in our advancement in providing quality legal services, such as legal assistance, dispute mediation, and legal education to respective members and the general public.
