The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Representing the Law Society, President C. M. Chan, Vice-President Amirali Nasir and Immediate Past President Melissa Pang (in her capacity as the President of LAWASIA) spoke at the LAWASIA Webinar on Trade and Investment Law in Vietnam on 22 September 2023.
Mr Chan and Mr Nasir took the opportunity to introduce to the international community the role of Hong Kong as an international legal hub, and how Hong Kong can act as a “super-connector” to support the Mainland enterprises in “Going Global” and worldwide investors in entering the Mainland market.
