The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

At the invitation of the Law Society of Brunei Darussalam, Vice-President Amirali Nasir attended the Opening of the Legal Year 2023 in Brunei on 9 February 2023.
Taking the opportunity of this occasion, Mr Nasir introduced to the local judges, legal practitioners and participating overseas lawyers’ associations Hong Kong’s legal system and services, latest developments in the legal industry, and the Law Society’s efforts in promoting Hong Kong legal profession to the international legal communities.
Vice-President Amirali Nasir exchanged insightful views on topical issues relevant to the legal profession with the local judges, legal practitioners and various overseas bar leaders.
