The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The joint webinar with German Federal Bar was successfully held on 19 December 2022, attracting over 100 members from the two associations. Eminent speakers from Germany and Hong Kong provided detailed presentations on the anti-money laundering regulations and the supervision of the advocacy in the two jurisdictions. This concludes the Law Society’s joint webinar series with the Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) counterparts in 2022.
