The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Under the theme “Ensuring Effective Capital Market Access: Hong Kong and Italy”, the joint webinar with Milan Bar Association was successfully held on 7 July 2022, attracting more than 170 participants from the two associations. Apart from providing an overview of the business environments in both jurisdictions, speakers from Hong Kong and Italy also discussed the most pressing issues that companies in Italy face when accessing Hong Kong’s capital market, and highlighted the opportunities for Hong Kong companies to invest in Italy.
