Free Online Workshop –
"Dealing with a Crisis Situation & Building Coping Skills"

  1. The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the biggest global crises in the 21st century which has elevated the stress level of the fast-paced environment in Hong Kong. The Member Benefit Committee is organising an online workshop where a certified hypnotherapist will examine the markers of stress and the many ways to increase one's resilience in the face of a crisis.
  2. Details of the event are as follows:
    Date : Thursday, 29 April 2021
    Time : 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
    Format : Webinar via Zoom (successful registrants will receive the Zoom details in due course)
    Speaker : Ms Christine DESCHEMIN, Founder, Renewed Edge Hypnotherapist 
    Centre (click here for the speaker's profile)
    Capacity : 90 participants (places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.)
    Fee : Free of charge
    Remarks : (a) Prior registration is required.
    (b) The workshop may be cancelled if it is undersubscribed.

  3. For those members who are interested in joining the workshop (Event Code: MS_20210007), please register via either way of below by Wednesday, 21 April 2021. Pre-registration of your mobile number is required for accessing the registration platform (both Web and App versions). To register your mobile number, please click here (Member's zone login is required).

    Notes:

    1. The App is only currently available to full members and trainee solicitors.
    2. To download and activate the App, please follow the steps illustrated in the Installation and Activation Guide.
    3. In the System (both Web and App versions), please add the event into your shopping cart AND proceed to payment (even the event is free of charge) to complete the registration.
    4. Successfully registered events would be listed under "My Enrollment Record" in the System.

  4. A confirmation email containing relevant web link to access the online workshop will be sent from the Law Society to all successfully registered members.

  5. The webinar may be screen-capped or video-recorded for the Law Society’s records and promotion of future events. By participating in this webinar, you and your accompanying person(s) (where applicable) consent to be screen-capped or video-recorded, and give permission to the Law Society to use your images for internal records, educational and marketing purposes, and in promotional materials including but not limited to the Law Society’s website, Law Society’s weekly Circulars, Annual Report, Hong Kong Lawyer and social media platforms e.g. the Law Society mobile App, event-related Facebook and Instagram.

  6. If your registration has been accepted but you are unable to attend subsequently, please notify us on sherman.yuen@hklawsoc.org.hk promptly to allow another person on the waiting list to attend.
