The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Completed application together with all necessary supporting documents / files must be submitted via the online application platform on or before the application deadline, i.e. Friday, 18 October 2024.
Award recipients will be notified by email in December 2024.
Awardees of Individual Awards, Law Firm Awards, Student Awards, Improvement Awards and Pro Bono and Community Service 10-Year Achievement Awards will be presented with a Certificate of Recognition.
Awardee(s) of Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award, Distinguished Pro Bono Law Firm Award, Distinguished Community Service Award, Distinguished Community Service Law Firm Award, Young Lawyer Award and Special Award for the Year will be presented with a trophy and a Certificate of Recognition.
Applications of Individual Awards, Law Firm Awards, Young Lawyer Special Award, Student Awards, Special Award for the Year, Improvement Award and Pro Bono and Community Service 10-Year Achievement Awards will be reviewed by the Law Society Secretariat and checked by the Committee.
Applications of Distinguished Service Awards will be processed by the Law Society Secretariat and reviewed by the Committee and the Judging Panel.
As the Programme is not intended to be a measure of the performance of solicitors or law firms in the discharge of Work, the decisions of the Committee/Judging Panel in the Programme shall be final and no appeal or challenge to the decisions will be accepted.
