Hong Kong’s Legal Profession: A “Super Connector” and “Super Value-Adder” Bridging Cross-Border Business Opportunities
Connect our members to the world
The Law Society has signed 50 Memoranda of Understanding (“MOUs”) to strengthen relationships with overseas lawyers' associations and international legal organisations.
These MOUs empower members to tap into a vast network of global legal professionals, fostering valuable connections and collaborations for new business opportunities. Members can also engage in joint training programmes, workshops, and seminars with international counterparts, ensuring they remain at the forefront of global legal trends.
Currently, these MOUs encompass 47 associations across 31 jurisdictions. For the detailed list, please see here.
To enhance direct engagement with our Mainland and overseas counterparts, the Law Society’s office bearers and Committees’ members have been visiting various cities worldwide in the past years.
These visits foster the exchange of expertise, insights, and best practices across jurisdictions, deepening members' understanding of global legal issues. They also pave the way for joint initiatives, research collaborations, and training opportunities that mutually benefit members.
For details on the most recent Mainland and overseas trips since January 2025, please see below.
